Mentioned below is Steps for Face layer. Tween animation is same for all other layer's Graphic Symbols. The only difference is direction and timing of the animation. It is not necessary to follow exactly the example animated character. You can add your own animation to each Graphic Symbol drawings. The only requirement is the animation should not look Odd.

  1. Lock all other layers except Face layer.

  2. Right click inside Frame Number 15 and choose "insert Key frame" from pop-up option. This action creates another copy of same frame. Insert another key frame in Frame number 30.

  3. Right click anywhere inbetween frame 1 and frame 15 and choose "Create Motion Tween " option from pop-up menu. Again "Create Motion Tween" between Frame No. 10 and Frame No. 30. You can seea straight black arrow line (with light blue background) pointing towards frame 15 and again towards Frame 30. This is the indication that the tween animation is created.

    You can add motion tween only to symbols (Graphic symbols, Movie clip symbolsl and Button symbols). You can't add Motion tweens to your raw drawings on stage until you convert them to symbol.

    If Motion Tween not getting applied to the graphic than the graphic is probably not a Symbol.

  4. After applying tweens in between 1 - 15 and 15 - 30, select Free Trasform Tool ( ) and click inside Frame No.15 to get Transform handles on "Face" graphic symbol. Rotate Face graphic approximately 45 degrees clock-wise.

  5. Hold down Ctrl key on keyboard and hit enter key (Ctrl+Enter) to test Movie. The head rotates 45 degree clockwise and returns to the original position. And the head rotation will loop again and again.

  6. In similar way apply animation to other parts of the body. Adjust center registration point of Free Trasform Tool ( )for animating legs and hands. To set Hand's rotation point at shoulder of the character, select any Hand graphic (either left or right) with Free Transform tool ( )and drag its center reference point on to the shoulder and rotate to an angle. This avoids circular movement of hand based on rotation points at the center.

    To flip hand and leg graphics, select graphic with Selection Tool and go to Modify>>Transform>>and choose Flip Horizontally.

  7. Add required animation to Leg part. According to leg anmation design shadow graphic on Shadow layer and animate to give some depth to your animation.
